The article concluded that the palatal approach can be a safe and effective method in selected cases where the conventional buccal approach is compromised.
This type of experience is important because sinus augmentation is not a one-size-fits-all procedure. Patients may have limited bone, previous failed grafts, sinus anatomy variations, scar tissue, septa, prior infection, or other complexities that require advanced diagnosis and careful surgical planning.
